Once you have received a Letter of Acceptance into a program, the next step is to submit your study permit visa application to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
If you are a citizen of a visa-exempt country, you must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
If you are not a citizen of a visa-exempt country, you will require a Temporary Resident Visa.
You must generally meet minimum requirements for your study permit to be approved such as
Passing police criminal check
Not be medically inadmissible to Canada (be in good health)
