Within 90 days of losing your student status, you may apply to have it restored. You may only apply if you have continued to meet the requirements that allowed you to enter and stay in Canada, as well as all the conditions imposed on your permit.

After you apply to have your status restored, you may remain in Canada until your application is decided, but you are not permitted to study until your status is restored.
